The "Feast" co-op is a home school cooperative group meeting in Birmingham, Alabama. Charlotte Mason described education as an abundant feast overflowing with diverse and rich "living" ideas that is spread before the student. Each student comes to the feast hungry to learn and takes the knowledge that he can digest. Our goal as a co-operative is to provide group learning experiences for home schooled children ages six and up to complement or supplement learning at home. We will meet at different parks and locations around Birmingham each Friday from 11:15 to 2:30 for a rotation of nature study, fine arts, Shakespeare and play time.

Our rotation schedule which will be as follows:
- 1st and 3rd Friday of each month we will meet for music, handicrafts and Plutarch's Lives (Plutarch's Lives are for fourth grade and up)
- 2nd and 4th Friday of each month we will meet for natural history, nature study with dry brush painting and Shakespeare club (Shakespeare club is for fourth grade and up)
Each student will be responsible for bringing their own supplies for nature study which will include a nature notebook, watercolors, and a very fine brush (or colored pencils). Parents are required to stay with the children as this is not a drop off class.
